Universal Pharmacare

In Canada, if you cut your finger, you go to a doctor and get treated with stitches. When it’s done, you walk out and never pay a dime.

But if you walk into a doctor’s office and get diagnosed with an ailment that requires prescription medication, you’re stuck footing the bill. For many people, their cost of medication is too high when combined with rent, internet, and other essential costs.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Svend Robinson and the NDP have a plan for Universal Pharmacare by 2020.
